I have had a truly horendous thing happen to me today. . i discovered that nearly all of my writings, art, ideas, journaling, and other such artistic endevours and creations i have crafted prior to coming to alamaba, are all effectively ruined. . a slim few scraps somehow survived, but the bulk of my lifes work is essentially lost forever. this has happened to me twice before, living the life i lead, and everytime it is something beyond my abilty to convey in words in terms of pain. for an artist as such as myself, it is a staggering loss, a worst nightmare come true. it was just a bunch on ink and paper that was lost, but the pouring out of my soul, countless tears, endless hours of sweat, and the remaining collective work of my personal history all just gone. a moldy corpse of all the past selves i have been. this may seem over dramatic to some, but that would likely not be someone who lives the life of a poet, muse, bard, artist, and inventor. i can say plainly, that had this occured when i was at my worst, i would not have survived the incident. i realise how silly that is, but this is who i am. as i am now, this is the final time the creator attempted to shatter his most precious vase. But this time, i did not break. this time, the vessel held together. . . so it goes. the phoenix does not need to be again reborn.
