I have heard lately a few times from different people; [mostly those who are suffering in one way or another], That God said he would not give us more than we can handle. Each time I heard it, the Spirit in me cringed. We have to read the scriptures or we misquote what GOD truly says, and look for something to come to pass, that is a lie. Then we get mad at GOD or believe that we have done something terrible, that he is going to just let us suffer, so we turn away from him. While it is a really nice thought, it is dangerous to speak and believe it. Those who do read the scriptures, have to be more careful not to speak things like this above, because we are esamples to lead others to the truth, and it can cause a falling away of someone who desperately needs the One True Living GOD The Father, Yhvh. What it says is: 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be TEMPTED above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. We will not be TEMPTED beyond what we are able to bare. That, there will be an escape root, so to speak, out of that temptation. It is the enemy that tempts us and Our LORD will help us to overcome that temptation. The way of escape is to look at and cry out to Our LORD YahuShua [Jesus]. He will help us through what satan is doing. YahuShua [Jesus] IS the door that we go through to escape temptation. Jas 1:13-14 (13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Keeping our focus on Yhvh [FATHER GOD] on His goodness, forgiveness, mercy and the love He has shown us through His Only Begotten Son. We will make it out the door of temptation. He says believe, it is a thought process. The scripture below is an instruction given to us, as how to overcome. Meditate on these things. Php 4:8 (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. It is as I said; a thought process that will lead us to temptation which leads us to sin. Jas 1:14-15 (14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. So to sum it up, for the most part, we put things on ourselves be the choices we make. If we are not listening for the voice of our LORD to give direction on the choices before us. Well, we will have to bare it. Is my choice of the fleshly desire or is it Spiritual?
