I have heard some pastors/people say that the devil is just a toothless lion making loud roars and that he is dumb. They probably have developed this notion because of the devil’s misconceived idea that he could overthrow God! But, for the leaders of a church to say these things to an unlearned audience plants the wrong idea about Satan in their minds! These leaders are unknowingly being used by Satan! Neither Jesus, the disciples, nor the angels ever said these type of things about the devil. The Devil is the “Master of Deception” and a formidable enemy. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
