I have listen to news reports from Law Enforcement Leader, Politicians, Racist Filled Politicians, Religious Leaders, Wannabe A Religious Leaders, Shouldnt be religious leaders, Black Panthers, Black Panther Kittens, KKK, Skin Heads, Bald Heads, Nappy Heads, Red Heads, Certified Medical Examiner, Celebrity Medical Examiner, Darren Wilsons Attorney, Michael Browns Family Attorney, The Attorney For U.N, The Attorney for anyone who would listen, The Man that was on the grassy knoll, The Justice Department. This is madness! Look, what ever is going to happen is going to happen. When they say The wheels of justice grinds slowly? It is just that. But, at some point it all has to end and the truth is finally revealed and all the information is released and this is put to rest? Can we figure out how to fix the racial divide of our city? Can we focus on understanding people and cultures? Can We reinforce the importance of human life? Can we focus on fixing us? It has been three months since that August day that all hell broke loose, and we are no better off for it and it is reaching its zenith. Soon, we will have a verdict, and we will have some people that will be angered by the verdict and we will have some that will rejoice. Some will insight violence, some will reach out for peace, some will just reach out and love. There are some people that are planning on protesting regardless of the verdict, because this IS what they always wanted to do. They feed off of conflict, but I figured out if we ignore them an NOT give them the attention they are seeking? They will go away and find another cause, if we continue to make them feel relevant? They will keep going and going. You all know this....take a three year old and he is having a temper tantrum and he is kicking and screaming just being a brat.....and you ignore them...they get up and leave, because you are NOT paying attention to them. The same holds true here, if we dont fall in to fear and go on with our everyday lives and stop paying attention? They will move on and find something else to do. I am not telling you to let your guard down....I am telling you to go about your lives and learn from this and try to make this place a better one. I have made some good friends on here and I have left a make on some of you a you ALL have made a mark on me....and that is what it is all about....right? Learning from each other, and getting to understand of all issues and learn to love our enemies....MLK was visionary and he preached of peace and non-violence. In the days/weeks to come after this verdict...are we going to follow in the footsteps of MLK and love? Or, are we going to sink beneath the level of the very people that are seeking conflict? It is ok to protest....it is NOT ok to push for violence and veiled threats. When it is all said and done, can we fix this? It is time to roll up our selves and renovate for peace. My Thoughts
