I have never liked surgery and I waited almost four years to have my ankle repaired cause I knew it would be brutal! It is even worse when the nerve block that should last four days starts to stop working the next day. Actually went to the hospital by ambulance at 3 am yesterday morning because it was unbearable! What do they do? Get your pain under control with delaudin and basically prescribe the same pills that you were already given and send you back home. They cant put in a new nerve block. They send you home because the insurance companies will not pay for extended stay. So here I am again with severe pain with basically no long term pain management! This is the medical treatment I receive for my $ 1,600.00 a month premiums. How long does the American people have to put up with this type treatment ?
