I have never talked about this. I feel it is time to say what I feel. 13 years ago, I was sitting at my desk in Gaylord middle school, I believe I was in social studies. Mrs. Alexander turned on the news and I didnt really understand what was going on. I saw planes hitting buildings and fire and smoke. All I knew was that there was a lot of fear, pain and sadness. I didnt understand why someone would want to cause others so much pain and heartache. That day, a lot of things changed our Country forever. It made way for a lot of mistakes to be made. And made a hole in our Nation forever. Things will never be the same. People dont forget. Whats worse is they rarely forgive. Shame on you. You took lives, you ruined families all to try to ruin our Nation. It didnt work. Were still here. A little screwed up, but nonetheless we are still here. Thank you to the men and women who serve our country. The soldiers, firemen, paramedics, doctors, surgeons and police officers. My Country may not be the best, but it is my home. And someday there will be a president who believes in God and who knows what they are doing and will do whats right for all of us. May God Bless all of you and may God Bless America.
