I have never written a public endorsement for a candidate in an election, but I am honored to write this one. I will be voting for Jane Farrell for 7th Circuit Court Judge for Fall River, Custer, Shannon and Pennington Counties. I have known Jane for over 25 years and she has always been a positive role model for me. She is the most sincere and giving person I have ever met. Her dedication to her profession, family, and community is to be commended. Her decision to run for this judgeship is not to be in a position of power, but rather to use her law profession as a service to the justice system that she knows and believes in. I believe that a judge needs to be an expert in law, a good listener, excellent communicator, and without a personal agenda. Jane represents these qualities. We hear and read to vote for the candidate with the most experience. I believe that Jane, with 30+ years in general law practice has the most experience.
