I have not looked deeply into this myself yet but I intend to. It is a very important topic since many folks depend on its resources. I recall while working in advertising some of my colleagues regularly quoted snopes saying most of the info in the alternative media on some topics are bogus. There have been rumors for some time they are funded by george soros and I suspected that myself but never found evidence. It was also said they are politically biased. Please do the research for yourself and decide.
