I have received news that the appeal by ABO against the refusal by SBC of their application for a wind farm at Barrel Law, by Alemoor Loch, has been dismissed. ABO are in theory allowed to object further by lodging an application for a Judicial Review of the decision but that only happens when an obvious error has been made in reaching the decision. The decision is based on landscape and visual impacts but also on the problems with MOD radar. That second objection will apparently make it almost impossible to come up with another smaller scheme.
