I have seen a lot of things lately where digital images are being shared and I wanted to take a moment to talk about that. I usually believe that most people share images by mistake or misunderstand what a digital stamp is, so this is not directed to anyone who is following the terms of use carefully....however, this is for the small minority who may be ignorantly or intentionally passing along images. Lets remember that a digital stamp is not purchased, but licensed. You do not own the image. You agree to a personal one-person use license for you (and your young children) when you send me $3. This allows me to let many people use the images and not lose the copyright to my art. Since you do not own the image, at no time is it okay to pin your favorite images on Pintrest or share them on your blog (even if they are free---send them to the store so they can find other images). You may not print the images to use in your own personal workshops or classes. I do allow a few select people with pre-approved classes to do that, but it is agreed upon by me and the other artist. You must purchase a license and have approval to do this. You may not email or share the files in digital or print form with your friends in stamp swap...please, this is the most common mis-use and I appreciate wanting to save money and share joyful memories and experiences, but please consider the size of this breach if thousands or even hundreds of people do it. So in sum, please do not pin unwatermarked stamps or participate in stamp swaps...please find another way to share an experience. However, if you want to color and stamp with your kids, please do that...I highly encourage that. :) Thank you for remembering the time I have to spend removing improper pins----and I rarely catch all of them. I do not draw for the money, but it is certainly part of why I do it, so please consider that although this is a part-time job for me, it is a full-time love and effort and I need each person to honor your terms of licensing when you participate in Tiddly Inks. And that said, thank you so much for participating in Tiddly Inks. I am so very grateful to have each of you join me in the amazing coloring adventure. Words can not express how amazing it is to see all your beautiful creations using my images---I never get tired of that! XOXO Christy
