I have so many emotions right now. I left the LIFEFire Luncheon & a Movie event full of anger, sadness, gratitude and love. I immediately got on the phone and expressed an idea to someone I love working with, Melissa Blynn and shared a thought for the non-profit we both care; with so many others; so deeply about. Vanessa Chamberlin Houssels you out did yourself again and you are back! The inspiration this afternoon filled my emptying cup. I know I am here for a reason. I except that, I love that & I; with the help of so many I adore; will make a difference. Todays movie was A Place at the Table. This is a must watch. The hunger in this country and the lack of nutritional education needs our attention. And we need to start in our own community, in our own schools. I applaud men & women like Shane Shane Stuart & Michele Rothstein & many others who fed the homeless this past holiday. And I want to make sure we help feed and educate our children here in Las Vegas. Both homeless and in poverty. Me, Myself..... I have big changes coming and I am so thankful to become an even bigger part of a wonderful community and non-profit. Please come volunteer, help promote, donate or come educate with us at Create A Change Now. Help feed the hungry & homeless, donate funds, food, time, clothes or love not only this season but ALL seasons. Folks, I grew up a poor country girl and through watching my parents thrive and survive I too have been able to do the same. Its my responsibility to share & care. ISNT yours too?!
