I havent been too well the past few days and had borrowed neighbours tablet for some photo related work. Meanwhile she had offered to buy my medicines (also tablets) so she messages, Ill come over to give your tablets I reply with a heh heh I also have your tablet to give you. Much giggling at the door follows. I had offered my TV for use, since neighbour often has guests staying over and they like watching movies. And my TVs been lying unplugged since my folks visited in February. A little sena arrives to take the TV. I tell them sheepishly it has really been lying undusted all these months, They in good cheer, ignore the dust and take it happily. Today I found that I didnt have bread. So before I could call my lovely home delivery family dukandaars and ask br..? Neighbour asks, Do you want to have some biryani? I tell you, before one can ask for bread, life sends you biryani. Accepted with yum gratitude. Especially since my previous home was lovely, had the friendliest guard and neighbours driver, but the owners were stiff as hell. For the last one year Ive thoroughly enjoyed this return of neighbourliness. Asked freely. Given freely. Gotta be lifes kindest blessing - The joys of a wonderful, caring neighbour.
