I haven’t heard anything regarding our issue even after the 100 days of BJP Government. Although interference of Pakistan High Commission has reduced but it has not been completely stopped. Now, I am just waiting for my refugee resettlement elsewhere outside India but the Indian authorities are not formally stamping a visa on my documents. I was told and was let seen the visa approval letter for us (myself and Fatima) in March / April 2014 and our required documents were collected for Long Term Visa (LTV). Before this, our LTV documents were collected on Nov 5, 2013. Now, for the third time I have been asked that submit a third application for LTV within months. I don’t know if there is one system or one authority in India? My humble request is that an LTV should be stamped on my documents so that I may open-up a bank account as well as try to find out some informal work for living until my refugee resettlement applications are processed elsewhere outside India. And, there should be final full stop to Pakistani ‘Farmaish’ regarding us here in Delhi. Please do not compel me to protest outside United Nations against both of the Governments.
