I hear many people say that in Presidential elections your votes - TopicsExpress

I hear many people say that in Presidential elections your votes do not count or matter. We can argue about that all day long. What is axiomatically true is that local elections matter and you can have a major impact locally. From your State Senator/Representative all the way down to your city council, you CAN make a big difference. The farther down the line you go, the bigger impact you can have. City council elections for example generally have very low voter turnout. That means that even a small percentage of people can help win an election. So maybe you arent going to shift the direction of the entire country but you can help shift the direction of your city. Get off you lazy arse and go vote if you havent done so already. Just voted for 2 city council members in Middleton, Idaho!
