I hear so many say that to attract the younger people to church we have to change our music to contemporary. That is just not so. First, teach them to love the Lord with all their heart, mind, and soul. Then, challenge them and teach them to read music, and sing convention style gospel music. It is not easy, and young people thrive on challenges. I have not felt the Holy Spirit like this in a long time like I did at the GA State Gospel Singing Convention. These young people love the Lord, and I am proud to say my daughter, Katie, is one of them!!
