I heard that the Glascock county commission was offering a reward for information about the destruction of some road signs. So I decided to ask the Commissioner Chair and this is her response. Yes there is. We are offering a $500.00 reward for destruction of signs on David Road and Mitchell-Warrenton Rd (Glascock County sign)on Mitchell Rd. This is for the arrest and conviction of person or persons responsible for this. These signs are very expensive and the cost to put up cost the county a lot of money. We should not have to pay for and installation of signs over and over. We could use this money for other improvements. Please share with all your friends. I sure hope it works. I dont think these people realize when the road name sign is missing it slows down the response time for emergency vehicles and could mean the loss of life. I would hate to know someone would have to live with the fact that they may have contributed to causing a death because of their destruction of a sign. #stopvandalism
