I hope this is not about the horrible, corrupt U.S. government being a police state regardless of party affiliation. Our family lived thru WWII as refugees in Austria from the Balkens before coming to the US as refugees. The opposition didnt care about surveillance, free speech, etc. ....only ethnic cleansing via killing everyone but those like them. I hope we agree that we dont want to overthrow our government, just improve it. I am sick of all the over-throwing and our involvement in countries to which we are sympathetic or need. I hate innocent people get killed; but as my Mom, who recently died, said, You cant have riots or wars without the innocent getting hurt or killed. That is the way of things. She should know...she experienced so many horrible things during WWII. Yet.....never a bitter, negative bone in her body toward America, where the family thrived, despite little or no help from anyone, including the U.S. government. At least here I am free. That was her mantra. I try to keep that perspective and only fear the extreme conservatives who seem to be anti-everything that can help others and are only widening the social and financial viability gap.
