I hope you, and your students are ready for some BAND CAMP! We get started with sectionals this week with: Tuesday: Student Leadership only Wednesday: Woodwinds and Student Leadership Thursday: Guard, Brass and Student Leadership Friday: Percussion and Student Leadership Each day is 9:00am-12:00pm and is required of all marching band students on their respective day(s). Next week during sectionals we need to have returning students take their uniform pants and jacket home to be gently washed, and line dried (no dryers), and tried on with their Marching shoes. New students need to find a uniform close enough to be fitted, and it needs to be washed as well. We will have shoes available to try the uniform on with. Please mark on the provided slip: 1) the students name 2) if the uniform needs no alterations 3) if alterations are needed. Please list what is needed done to the uniform. Place the slip in the uniform bag window. This needs to be done next week in preparation for Carol Smith, who will do alterations, and fittings for our Band on Wed and Fri the 1st week of band camp. The kids need to bring their cleaned uniforms back on Monday, the 1st day of camp. Thanks to Carol Smith for taking on this task! We will need some volunteers to help her on the days she does alterations. We have a Booster Meeting this Thurs, the 1st at 7pm. And need all to attend. We will be going over the updated Bylaws at 6:30 if you can attend. We are looking forward to a tremendous Marching Band Season! Tony
