I hope you arent a high school kid thats hoping against hope to get an athletic scholarship so you will have the opportunity to get an education. A ruling earlier this week that says scholarship athletes are employees of the university and should be able to unionize means 1 of 2 things for collegiate athletics. 1.) schools will simply not give out scholarships. That means athletes will be required to live up to academic standards with very little university sanctioned help. 2.) smaller schools will just discontinue their athletic programs.
