I just came to the realization that I have spent the past two days locked in my apartment doing nothing but playing piano. My only breaks have been to maybe eat, check Facebook (I know, sad, right?) and once a day I traveled to Starbucks for my beloved Americano. Until recently, I have kept my music largely to myself. Music can be extremely personal and spiritual and part of me feels like I should keep it tucked away as a sacred treasure to be shared on rare occasion, not devalued by posting it on Facebook. However, another part of me thinks that to appreciate the fact that I can afford to spend two days in my apartment playing music, I should share it with whomever would like to listen. Thank you for letting me share my music and a little bit of myself.
