I just finished doing another Pravana Perfection Smoothout treatment. What sets the Perfection treatment apart from other smoothing treatments is that it employs a nano amino acid complex, which is comprised of amino acids, a heat protective polymer and a reducing catalyst that is activated with heat to allow the solution to penetrate the hair fiber and to suspend the hair’s “textural memory”. There is no need for formaldehyde or a formaldehyde substitute to bind keratin to the hair, as there is no keratin in the Perfection SmoothOut formula. I love the shine and curl reduction it gives and I love the low heat setting used when applying this treatment. No need to burn keratin into the hair at 450 degrees. This treatment is absorbed into the hair and rinsed out that day prior to styling before leaving the salon. Cost for this at HairPlay starts at $150. Depending on length and texture, density. I recommend this treatment for anyone and on any texture. Anyone who wishes to reduce frizz, reduce curl, and impart beautiful shine. Treatment lasts 3 months if used with the correct shampoo and conditioner. I have been certified thru Pravana to safely use this product.
