I just had a conversation on a friends timeline. Ill just say here that I refuse to feel guilty for having purchased Bentley from a pet store, which I later found out got him from a puppy mill. Bentley was the first dog Id owned in many years and Id purchased dogs from other pet stores in the past (early 90s). We tried to adopt from Animal Services but all the dogs there were too big for our apartment. I didnt know about other adoption agencies back then and I dont patronize that pet store anymore.
