I just had a wonderful conversation with a woman raising funds for her Jewish community organization over the phone. They do great work to help the poor and people addicted to substances among other things. They had me in their database as Dr. & Mrs Segal which I told her made my Jewish mother very happy to see on the envelope but she should really update the database as Im not married or a doctor. I said so maybe this time you can put President or what else can I be hmmm? She said well you are already a prince, you are a son of the King of the Universe the Creator, we all are. She asked what I did as Im not a doctor we established, I told her I build websites for nonprofits, and people working to build a better world. We talked about the importance of not judging others unless its to see the good in them. I believe what we focus on we give our energy to so I agreed with this. We talked about how every good we do in the world brings more light into it, repairs the world and how the more we look for the good the more of it there is. More than that saying acknowledging the good creates more of it. It was a great conversation with a stranger about life and meaning and goodness. She thanked me for my time and said she enjoyed our talk, that I had a beautiful Neshama which means soul. I told her I enjoyed talking with her too and that she has a beautiful soul too because it takes one to know one.
