I just posted this review to yelp. I hate to negatively impact someones reputation but am trying to get the word out so no one else gets involved with this company or contractor and end up in the mess my husband and I are in: My husband and I recently bought a home in New Providence which was bought, renovated, and sold to us through Gateway Properties, primarily through a Mr. Keith Walters. We have already had to put 15k into fixing plumbing and drainage problems in the house and we have two more major issues with plumbing now which will estimate around 10k to fix. Essentially, he did not know what he was doing certainly with the plumbing and the overall renovation of an old home. He was very personable and sold us on his experience and family values however his work speaks for itself. My husband and I are now struggling financially due to his incompetent work for he will accept no responsibility. If you are considering using Mr. Keith Walters or Gateway Properties Unlimited to renovate or contract a house, please re consider. It has been a heartbreaking experience to have out first and supposedly new home fall apart.
