I just read an article ( m.goupstate/article/20131029/articles/131029628/1083/woodruff_city_council_meeting_ends_without_answers_on_suspension_of_police_chief;jsessionid=F12D27866388CBF201465BCA05041E4A.m2 ) that brought me bittersweet news. Im deeply saddened that my dear friend and the people of my hometown whom I love dearly have been victimized by highly questionable decisions from leadership. However, I do agree with the decision to make Mike Gabriel the INTERIM Chief of Police. I have known Mike Gabriel for many years. He is truly a Salt of the Earth individual. Anyone that knows him will testify that he serves the community with the love, integrity,and professionalism it deserves. Chief Dawkins is not only my best friend but also one of the best men I have ever known. Woodruff is my hometown and I owe its people everything for loving me and molding me. Although our hearts are heavy, please continue to show the world what a great a class of people we have in Woodruff by honoring those in authority while GOD NAVIGATES US THROUGH THIS TRIAL. Job 23:10 says .....And when he tests me. I will come out as gold.
