I just read this on a thread about ebooks versus hard copies: I will never own a kindle. To me a true book lover enjoys the touch and smell of a book. Nothing like walking into a bookstore and breathing in the scent of new books or for that matter dusty old books. I reckon I aint a true book lover in that case. I suppose I would be what one would all a true story lover. It isnt the format of the book that matters to me, its the depth of the tale. While shes wasting time smelling and fondling books, I am busy reading them. And it must be nice to be able to afford a hard copy of every book you want to read. I consume far too many stories to buy a 10-20 dollar copy of every single one, when I can get the digital (containing the same exact story, sans the smell) for a much lower price. If I like it enough I will get my hands on a hard copy, then I can smell it all I want.
