I just realized something. In the last five years I have planted 6 trees on my property in an effort to offset my carbon foot print. I can only take that once as this model is good for only the carbon that is offset by the trees carbon storage, not photosynthesis. So, that actually brings my Carbon Footprint down to 9.54-6*(0.911)*(2/2.2)=4.57 metric tonnes. That is almost to the global average (industrialized and non-industrialized areas). That is awesome. Now, I have to figure out how much my dense, jungle landscaping is helping. We can recycle our cans, why not our energy consumption?
