I just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who supported our recent triathlon fundraising efforts. Together you helped smash the initial £4,000 target which I optimistically increased to £10,000 before the event. Im thrilled to say, including gift aid, we’ve just about hit £10,000 which is an fantastic result so huge thanks to everyone!!! In terms of how things went, it was a beautiful sunny (but not too hot) day which is my favourite type of running weather and I am delighted to report there were no dramas at all. I was so spurred on by thinking about all the issues the young people we support have to deal with on a daily basis as well as your incredible generosity that I ran my fastest ever 10k in 59.40mins. I’ve never been a great runner, so I was very happy!
