I just wanted to take the time out to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for me and my family concerning the passing of my Dad Thomas Noel Mong. Yesterday we broke the news to the kids, which was almost harder to do than accepting the fact that he is no longer with us in the first place. Stephanie and my kids are very aware of the spiritual realm and how things work. Since a very young age theyve all been very interested and concerned about learning the facts about Jesus, Satan, Heaven and Hell. We have never forced anything on them but when your dad is on the road for weeks at a time, kids tend to wonder why and every since they were babies I have been out on mission trips, touring with christian bands and playing concerts as a hip hop artist. My kids are my biggest fans and they listen to my lyrics so they ask a lot of tough questions and we as parents do our best to fill in the blanks. Naturally they were concerned more about the after life then they have been about the physical. Theyve seen grandpa suffer, they new about the surgeries, amputations and dialysis that he had to go through for the past 5 years and so none of this came as much of a surprise to any of us but their little hearts are so big and they truly loved their grandpa so much that they are going through a mourning process all of their own. So if YALL still have interest in praying for our situation, just pray for our kids as this has been very hard on them. We all have faith that we will see grandpa again in heaven but it doesnt make any of this easier for them especially.
