I just watched this in my personal view disgraceful BBC documentary It makes no reference to the campaigns to get companies to improve workers conditions, it makes no reference to the work of UNI Global Union or IndustrAll to get companies to agree a protocol, of the victimisation of union activists who raise these issues. It interviews factory bosses one of whom demands 5 cents more per item in return for improving factory conditions. I appreciate documentaries that focus on individual survivor experience but to combine it with a free run for factory owners and no mention of the workers unions is deliberate. Companies get a pat on the back for agreeing to pay compensation! Are these BBC researchers so bad at their job that they don`t know about the tragic lack of compensation or is it an editorial decision not to refer to it? Its on BBC again tomorrow night. ugh bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04bwxnd
