I just wish to say a massive thank you to Lucy OShaughnessy for coming out and doing Wallys teeth today and a huge thank you to Ella. Wally seemed to be getting worse and was limping more so I decided time to get another vet visit. We discovered that wally had a absess from the bar in his hoof all the way to the toe. This absess has been there for about 3 months getting worse and worse. The infection has started to go up into his leg. Today Ella opened and drained the absess. It was yellow and green puss and it was very thick. He is now on a higher level of antibiotics and painkillers. Hopefully we have caught it early enough otherwise we will look into more options. Thank you Kylie Nik for holding him and being there with him while I was at work. I have attached a couple of photos of him but dont want to post the photo of the hoof as it is pretty yucky and I dont want to upset or gross anyone out but if you would like to see them I can send them in a pm. Just happy he will be feeling better soon hopefully.
