I keep hearing from various people, who are trying to comfort me that what happened to Garrett was all part of Gods plan. Im sorry, but I dont agree with that. I dont think God decides to just call a beautiful 22 year old boy away from his family, and all those who love him. I believe that my beautiful boy died because God granted us with free will. Tonight is Friday night, and if you all want to do something to honor Garrett, and make this mother feel better, please dont drink and drive. If you are going to drink, arrange for someone to drive you. Never ever get into a vehicle with someone who has been drinking, and always buckle that belt. Garrett would still be here with us today if he hadnt gotten into a vehicle with someone who had been drinking. Please honor Garrett tonight and call a cab, or a sober friend if you have had a few drinks!!!
