I know Pam Sargent said something similar in the past week, but I also wanted to say that I love how God is always showing me new, relevant things when I read His Word! I started studying a couple of verses in Colossians, intending to teach one Sunday School lesson. That quickly turned into two lessons where Id cover two chapters a week for two weeks. That turned into an intention to cover four chapters in four weeks. Seven weeks later, I THINK Ill finish this Sunday. But I know that I have learned more from this study than I could possibly teach them, and without even meaning to, Colossians has become one of my favorite books in the Bible. I guess my point is, if you havent opened your Bible (or Bible app) lately, make some time to do that. Not out of guilt nor even duty, but because God has something amazing and new waiting for you!
