Sometimes, I wish that various user interface things came with some kind of explanation so that I could understand under what circumstances something that seems idiotic to me would be useful to someone else. For instance, on my phone, if I want to find and download a new app, I can go to the store and start typing in the search box. Rather than look at what Im typing and trying to intuit what I might be thinking, it just displays the last 5 or so things Ive already downloaded, on the off chance that I might want one of them again, and regardless of whether the apps name contains any of the letters Im currently typing. Useful how....?
