I know a lotta people have been posting about Frankie Knuckles & most people dont quite understand who he was. Let me summarize.... In 1977 he started spinning at a club in Chicago called The Warehouse, the music he played there started being called (Ware)house music & house music was born... his contributions to music were so impactful in 2004 that the street where the Warehouse club stood was named Frankie Knuckles Way & Aug 25th 2004 named Frankie Knuckles Day (Sen Barack Obama helped make this happen)... & I know a lot of people have been posting famous Frankie Knuckles tracks, but I think to really understand him you gotta listen to a DJ set... this one is pretty recent, RIP to a true music legend, Frankie Knuckles
