I know most of you dont know me but Im a life Member of SPAAMFAA. But thats only been from the last 17 years or so.So I want to voice my opinion of the upcoming elections. I understand that there has been a lot of questions raised about the current president Dave Naiper running for Senior VP. Really? This has never been done before. The Question is WHY? I sent him an Email asking but have not received a written reply as to WHY. He did reply that he wanted to speak to me on the phone about it. In the meantime I was forwarded an Email that Dave sent to some of his friends and past Presidents of SPAAMFAA but did not include past SPAAMFAA Presidents nor some of the sitting Board Members. Why? Dave has had his run as President and Mr. Dundas will take over to hopefully keep us on the path for increased membership. Ted Elder who is a 40 year member and a young man is running for Senior VP which would, as history has shown us will lead to him being the next President of SPAAMFAA after Mr.Bill Dundass. I would urge all members of SPAAMFAA to vote for Ted a Young Guy who is in touch with the HOBBY and who will continue us on a path of increased membership and a strong organization.
