I know some of you can help Amy with her question about having a student teacher! She said...At the moment (beginning of her placement), my student teacher is doing a lot of observing and has a lot of down time, understandably. I dont want her to be bored or be stuck with busy work like grading(which I dont think is her purpose, even though shes volunteered to do it!) I am self admittedly not a good delegator! This is my 10th year teaching, but first time having a student teacher. What are some things that make a student teachers time most successful/meaningful? Any ideas or advice to help me help her would be greatly appreciated!!
