I know some of you saw this on my page, but too cute not to share here for everyone else... So little Button here was released a couple days ago with momma and the other ewes I got a few weeks ago. Momma and Button split off from the flock and I found them back by one of the blinds yesterday. He was unable to get up - too weak... We think momma ran him too much or something tried to get a hold of him (he is favoring one of his legs). I was starting to lose hope because I was having to force feed him and he wouldnt stand for me any more.. I could get him to stand and walk, but as soon as I put him on his side, he couldnt get up again. Anyway, came home this afternoon and he was standing up. We stopped and got a lamb bottle and nipple and offered it to him and he drank. So I took him outside and this is what happened...
