I know that honesty is a difficult policy, that forgiveness is also very difficult, that anger is often too strong to be rocked to sleep. Yet our actions are choices we make between competing alternatives. I know that if everyone opted for the easier alternatives, things would never get better, I know that the best things in life may require dedicated effort. We are the world, individuals, if we did the right things one person at a time, we could be happier. I could save others avoidable pain, if I paid attention to the little details. Life is more than moments either of joy or pain, it is a sum of them. Perhaps today would be a good day for us and others if we tried a little more to do the good things even at the cost of our comfort.
