I know there is no love for Cap but Im really excited for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It is nice to see older stories come alive on screen and made relevant for the current social climate. The comic stories that stay with us are the ones that mean something personally. Either through our own experiences or through the events around us. Reading Iron Man injured in Vietnam has less impact to me then watching him captured in Afghanistan. Not because it isnt an important event but because I didnt live through that era. Captain America: The First Avenger was a silver screen period piece and I loved it. I hope now that Cap will get the same treatment Iron Man did. Take a powerful story and make it relevant to the current generation. Also, FALCON!
