I learned as a Christian that everything I possess comes from God. He asks that I use all that I have or own in ways that honor Him. Ive consecrated to God my skills. I have strong administrative skills...and though the ways I have used them at a given point in time may have been in a secular work, Ive always tried to utilize them in ways that would please God. Ive also made a commitment to use my spiritual gifts in ways that minister directly to those in the Body of Christ. My spiritual gifts are not of my own making. God gave me my skills and my other abilities for a purpose. All my income, skills, and spiritual gifts are consecrated to the Lord and to the pursuits that matters to Him.....so that they can fulfill the purpose for which they were given.
