I lied. I thought I was doing better. You know how the flu goes... face plant into the toilet for a day or so depending on how fast you run through the contents of your stomach and the last few days of meals added to any temptation to try and eat anything besides jello and you might just be well on the mend. So feeling better then not so good after abandoning the jello I decided to ask Tom to take me to the store to buy chicken and noodles for chicken noodle soup. Now Anne has been telling me I have to ask him the right way because apparently my mention of wanting to go does not qualify as asking. Knowing Anne is sick and wanting the soup as bad as I do. I just ask him to take me to the store after he checks to see if there is anything else Anne wants while she is sick... bad idea...shopping that is. Got what we needed including juice and orange popsicles although not the kind either of us likes and it is a trip to two stores not one. I should have said Winco because I know Winco has what we want but I didnt want to be out that long. Now Im back to feeling sick and sweating. I did start the chicken and I get to use my stockpot for the first time. Why did I have to way until I was sick to try it out? I have no idea except that soup is for cold weather and we havent had any that was cold enough. Soup is started. Managed to drink a cup of orange juice without burning my mouth so in spite of having a headache and feeling drained its not as bad as it could be. Just shouldnt be running around town right now.
