I live in california and my HOS is not honoring my opt-out request of a site-based standardized test (NWEA MAP). Its not a state test, its a standardized test given 3 times a year in order for the school to determine response to intervention (RTI) eligibility, get funding from foundations.... has anyone had any success in opting out of site-based standardized tests? Ive referred the school to ed code 60615 and the HOS response said its related to state tests.
