I lived in Alameda from 1966 thru 1988! I can remember so much like it was yesterday... I remember the sand dunes on Bay farm, I remember Godfrey park like it was yesterday, I remember the rifle range on Maitland dr and going behind the range and collecting lead, I remember Chef Ramonos on Maitland, I remember Pambered Pup on Park, Doggie Dinners and Nations on Webster. I remember playing basketball with the Oakland boys at Washington park. I remember the Beach and how I took it for granted...I remember the Alameda Flea Market, and I remember Oles and Jims to eat breakfast and dont forget Bobs Burgers on Park... Most of all I remember all the great friends I grew up with and finally get to see in a few months after 30 years... Alameda was at great place to grow up....
