I love Tonga and am about to do something many are scared to do. I will not say what it is until it is done but I had a minute to think of why some countries excel and I realise our people are our wealth but only if they have loto lelei and loto toa. People always say how lucky we are to live in Tonga where things are easy and we can relax in paradise. I wish that were true 100%. That maybe true perhaps for those who are here for a short visit or for those who are complacent and think Tonga is easy. It is really an intricate, complicated place where what appears is not what it really is. If people said what they meant and wished each other the best this nation would be more amazing. It is Not for the faint hearted. If you can do something here it is usually because you go beyond the call of duty and pay no mind or dismiss unnecessary challenges and petty ego wars. Lahi e ngaahi mea e loto foi ai e niihi ka ko e lelei oku ikai ke faingofua. This is just a random post because despite all the pettiness and silliness, I find myself more determined. Instead of giving up, I know God is showing me a better door. Instead of thinking how small we are and poor we are, I am thinking of the few great people who can do amazing things. I wish I could clone them to replace idiots. So to challenges and bigger dreams, I just realised I never entertained just kicking back and accepting whatever. Mediocrity should never reign. Thank God He made me even more determined. Be bold. Lototoa pea ngaue Tangata ngaue. God never takes me anywhere he has not prepared me for. On that note, have a blessed weekend and we will relax a bit and then work harder always and Never give up. Blessings to all who are loto lelei and ngaue malohi and rejoice in the success of others.
