I love fall. I love the cooler temps, the beautiful trees, the approaching holidays and the list goes on. However, this is the time of year I really struggle....my pain levels go through the roof. This is also the time of year I have to make sure everyone gets where they have to go. Sometimes, I have to pick my poison so to speak. If I do one thing, it means I may not be able to do others. Things like the pumpkin farm have consequences. I twisted my ankles a few times and I wasnt able to use a stroller in the field so I was carrying Selah for quite a while and this causes things to flare up in my chest, shoulders and back. Im not complaining, I would not change going to the farm, Stacey and Stefani were disappointed when I couldnt go last year when I was pregnant an were eagerly anticipating this year. I got awesome pics and two happy girls, I would not change it for the world :-) This for me means I have to have at least a couple of down days to recover from this, in doing so, I disappoint others in my family because I may not be able to do other things and this does hurt me that I can not do it all. I hope one day, those close to me understand the decisions I have to make in order to stay functional in my daily life, hopefully one day people will look back and see the carefully thought out choices I make on a daily basis and at least understand I tried.
