I met an old friend from school earlier, and he told me this Imran, I can be where you are today, but I choose not to be because I want to be low-profile Low profile? What does that even mean? I think its selfish. I think its selfish to not want to up our games and empower the community by showing them whats possible. A communitys thinking can be kept small by implanting seeds of scarcity in them. But if only we hung out with people who are doing well, will we begin to feel empowered, to know that there are others who are also doing well from a lousy beginning in life. I think its important, if you are doing well, to NOT BOAST about it. But, at least show others that doing well is DO-ABLE. That it is ACHIEV-ABLE. If you quietly do well, then you are implanting seeds of scarcity on others. Others will think its impossible to do well in their lifetime. That is why Nick Vujivic shows the world that a legless, armless person can do well and be positive. That is the power of empowerment. I think we gotta stop thinking only of ourselves. Show to the rest that they too, can do it.
