I must say that Uhuru is one tolerant president . Having been humiliated and things thrown at him and not order the arrest or shooting of the fanatically politically radicalized youth was just but a show of humbleness. Am just wondering if that was his father or moi , what would have happened?. A president no matter how much despised he or she is should never be humiliated. He is a symbol of national unity and the head of state. Any idiotic embarrassment of presidency reduces all of us into a bunch of savages to the global community no matter which side of political divide you subscribe to. This was a stuck reminder of the unfortunate time when the first president was humiliated by being hit with rotten eggs and what followed was a shameful moment where a president had to see his people being shot to protect him. Yes, we are not yet politically mature as a country but we should at least learn to separate institutions from politics. An example of US would suffice , just look at how the political losers respect the presidency as an institution. We should feel embarrassed as a country for undermining our highest and most respected institution. If you happen to meet the leadership of migori, tell them the only wise thing to do is to apologize to the president and Kenya as a whole.
