I need some advice from any of you network wise people out there. Heres the problem... OK so the router is in the living room and plugs directly into the cable coming out if the wall. I have the 2 computers in there hooked up to this router, all is fine there. I have a 3rd computer in a back bedroom that has access to cable line back there but doesnt have a modem or router plugged into it. I have figured I can do a few things. 1. Buy a wireless network adapter for the bedroom Comp and rely on WiFi from the router in the living room. 2. Run a lan cable up into the ceiling and across the attic from the living room router to the back bedroom comp. 3. Buy a cable modem and run that on the bedroom comp back there using the cable outlet that is also back there and not being connected to the router network in the living room at all. I figure the wireless network adapter is probably easiest but I want stable line back there. What would you guys suggest?
