I need to have a very transparent conversation with anyone here who is a member of the Uhuru Movement, the APSP, or any other political organization centered around African liberation. I need someone to explain to me why it is that when we deal with the oppression, subjugation and exploitation of African Men, it is wholly understood that these African Men are unwilling targets in an unjust system designed to capitalize off his slow demise. And yet here, we see that when the issues of the African Woman are addressed, you have an official political party line that the root issue is that the African Woman is COMPLICIT in her own oppression! Excuse me?! Just yesterday, I posted an article about a Black Woman who was wrongly convicted of a weapon charge under an art unjust law and the Black Males who commented BOTH said she should have known the law and was therefore complicit in her own imprisonment. And today, I open my email and see that the organizations out here that are SUPPOSEDLY working for for the liberation of ALL African people have come to the exact same conclusion. I stand firm in my assertion that the Black Woman has no allies.
